This is Ginger’s card to her teacher, Miss Joyce, for teacher appreciation week. It reads: “I wrote bubbbles too mak(e) you laf”. The bubbles are on the inside of the card. She asked me how to spell “wrote” and then I was busy doing other things in the kitchen while she worked on her card. When I went back to check on her, the lower half of the card was written and she was sounding out “laugh”. Isn’t it just the cutest thing?! I love it! I had no idea how exciting it would be to see my oldest child writing on her own or how proud I would be of misspelled words. Bill told her to add an e to “mak”, which was probably helpful for Miss Joyce 🙂
