Helzberg Hall

I just had to post a photo from Friday night because it was really amazing!!  We went to the Kansas City Symphony on the opening night of the 2011 season.  Kauffman Center and Helzberg Hall are just amazing!!  We sat in the Choral Loft, exact center top row and the view was fantastic.  I will say that the seats were a little stiff (understandably), but the view made up for it.  Plus, since I am known to sort of fall asleep at the symphony it is best that I not sit in a cozy chair and if I fell asleep everyone would have been able to see me (so embarrassing)!  Michael Stern went without his microphone at one point and we could easily hear what he was saying, amazing.  It was a wonderful performance by the entire Kansas City Symphony and Emanuel Ax.  I am not sure what the date of the concert is that they will be playing the organ, but it will surely be incredible.  If you have never been to the Kansas City Symphony, GO!  You will be so glad that you did.
